What is business card size
Standard paper size to print is 3.5"*2.0 with bleed area. which means you have to leave 1/8inch space around the card to keep your content safe from cutter.
How to design business card in CorelDraw
Just open up Coreldaw> New File> Creat a box with rectangle tool and keep its size 3.5"*2.0".
* Keep in mind that all design stuff like logo, text, graphics and pattrens should never crose this box because all content will be remove in cutting outside this 3.5*2.0 box.
Now the elements of business card.
There are few elements you can add to the business card. A business card can havae;
1. Text (Written name, company name, position in the company , contact numbers, address, websites, Fax number, company slogan or tagline and stuff like that).
2. Graphics (You can also add graphics, rectangle, lines, bars, cliparts, dots and stuff like that.).
3. Logo (Business card can also have logo of the company).
4. Images ( You can add images related to the business as background or part of card elements, example; you can add your own picture to the business card.).
5. Backgrounds( You can add images as background, textures as background).
